Four certified units, four federal ratings
ENERGY STAR measures every certified dehumidifier at 65°F, the air of a basement, and lists the result in pints a day: 12 for the SDL-30P, 24 for the SDZ1-80P, 35 for the SDZ1-120P and 50 for the SDZ1-150P. The brand figures on the boxes (30, 80, 120 and 150 pints) come from hot, wet test air, so compare units on the federal ones.
The SDL-30P is also marked ENERGY STAR Most Efficient in the records. The program says a certified unit removes the same moisture as a similar conventional one with 20 percent less energy.
Each of these units is part of the Shinco catalog.
