Terms of service

What this site is

shincostore.com is the online catalog of Shinco portable air conditioners, home and large-space dehumidifiers and their accessories. We do not take payments here. Every buy button leads to our retail partner, where the order, payment, shipping, returns and warranty claims take place under that partner's terms and the paperwork that comes with the unit.

Prices

Prices on these pages come from our last catalog update and can change at any time. The price at checkout is the price you pay. If a figure here and the checkout disagree, the checkout is right.

Ratings, room sizes and capacities

Cooling figures in BTU, room sizes in square feet, pints per day, noise and dimensions are the figures the brand gives for each unit. Where a federal test figure exists, we print it next to the brand figure and say which is which. A room size is a guide, not a promise: sun, ceiling height, insulation and how many people use the room all change what a unit can hold.

Safety information

Our guides summarize what public agencies say about indoor humidity, mold and plugging in heavy appliances. They are general information. For any safety question, follow those agencies and the manual of your unit.
