When the drain is above the unit
A gravity hose only runs downhill. In a basement with no floor drain, or a crawl space under the house, a pump pushes the water up through a hose to a laundry sink, a window or outside. Both units on this page have one built in.
The SDZ1-150P is the household unit: ENERGY STAR certified at 50 pints a day under the federal test, Wi-Fi, a 1.85-gallon bucket, rated for 7,000 square feet. The SGH-200P is the commercial one: up to 200 pints a day by the brand test, a metal shell and auto defrost, rated for 8,000 square feet.
Each of these units is part of the Shinco family of units.
