One unit for two seasons
The SPF2 with heat is the 10,000 BTU SPF2 with a fourth mode, for a room up to 400 square feet, and it comes in gray. The SPU2 with heat is the 14,000 BTU tower for a room up to 700 square feet, in white or gray. Both cool, heat, dry and run as a fan from the panel or the remote.
Size them by the cooling figure: neither unit carries a separate heating rating. Their DOE seasonal ratings are 6,450 and 10,000 BTU. A unit that heats runs for hours in winter as well as summer, so it plugs straight into a wall outlet, never through an extension cord.
Each of these units is part of the Shinco range.
